I'd say this is my favorite song so far on the collective, but doing so would be unjust, because this song did inspire a song (that has yet to release) on Demo Disease's first album; that song is "Something, Nothing". When I first saw this piece, I was basically moved enough to change the entire song then. This, to date, is still one of the most moving pieces I've seen.

I had this conflict about what to do with the trumpet solo with another member - I went by their word. Since this was about experimenting, I made an arrangement featuring the original idea and seeing how well I could take something written for the band with regular lyrics and stuff and mess with it.

The result is something that stands alone as it's own piece, but also really adds strength to the original.
